First things first
I like to kick start my day with a mixed berry smoothie.
This is something I have been doing for a long time and is so easy to stack up calories early in the morning.
Oats, mixed berries, banana, protein peanut butter, whey protein and milk are the fundamental ingredients in making my delicious smoothie. If you are looking for a bit of weight gain or muscle production this is a pretty good way to start your day as it is very high in carbs.
For breakfast this morning, I made myself eggs on toast with avocado. My choice of eggs are free range and I like (….) bread.
I also enjoy the occasional pancakes with sugar free maple syrup, blueberries, strawberries and ice cream, especially as a weekend treat
Mid-morning snack
This really depends on how I’m feeling on the day, but today I made myself a cup of tea with soy milk and grabbed a banana as I went back to do some work.
I LOVE CHICKEN!! For lunch, my go to protein (as you may have figured by now) is chicken.
My ingredients for today:
  • 200g chicken cooked separately in sesame oil and season with spices. Can also use Spicy Taco mix or coating mix
  • Veggies, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, carrots, capcicum
  • 1 cup of rice
Sometimes I cooked everything separately and put them together afterwards, but today I cooked the chicken and veggies together. This meal is very low in fats, so you can also add potatoes if you like.
Arvo snacks
This is where a I bulk on snacks. Today I had an Apple, a Carmens yogurt muesli bar and a handful of mixed nuts.
For dinner I love to try new things, this mostly turns out to be my post gym meal. So I’m not afraid to go all out and have something that I normally wouldn’t.
I wouldn’t say that I was lazy today but I did eat my dinner out at Boss Burgers. They do amazing Burgers, if you haven’t checked them out yet, do yourself a favour. ‘Tommy The Chook’ chicken burger is amazing!!
To finish
After dinner I like to chill out a bit and have some 70% dark chocolate. However today I had Blueberry flavoured yogurt which is not half bad.
