I’m a morning person, so I like to get up early and get things done.
No I don’t wake at 4am haha. Mostly I get up around 6am, depending on my schedule. This never happens on the weekends though, I’m always out late for my gigs so a sleep in I feel is well deserved
First things first, before I get out of bed I do this thing called daily gratitude. Where I would tell myself three things that I’m grateful for. Today I’m so grateful for my car, clean drinking water and a roof on my head. For me it is such a great way to start my day reminding myself to appreciate the little things in life.
Today I had a little stretch before I grabbed myself a cup of tea and then I sat down to read this book called ‘Tools Of Titans’ by Tim Ferriss.
I have been reading this book for a while now and it has taught me the tactics, routines and habits of Icons, Billionaires and World Class Performers. Not a bad one to check out!
After reading for an hour I made myself a smoothie and then I start getting on with my day by firstly checking my emails. Once all the emails have been answered, I’ll start doing things that add value to what I do.
So today I started writing more music. I made some new edits that are ready to be tested out this weekend at ‘Bloom’.
First 4 hours, 8am-12pm is very important to me. It is when I’m highly productive.
Take some time and figure out what works well for you to get the best out of yourself and your day.
After 12pm I go on to have my lunch. Today I had a chicken wrap.
I then worked on my socials for bit, got the Album artwork, flyers and photoshoots sorted.
4pm is my gym time, it has been for the past 2yrs
After gym is time for my family and friends, sometimes it is hard to balance this. I’m still learning everyday. Dinner by 7pm, I like to watch footy if its on or else I’ll watch something on netflix for a change.
